Biography

Dr. Francis E. Rosato is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery at Penn Medicine. He specializes in gastrointestinal surgery and general surgery, with expertise covering a wide array of gastrointestinal conditions. His education includes an MD from Thomas Jefferson University, followed by a residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He completed his fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Dr. Rosato is committed to providing high-quality care to his patients, many of whom are referred for complex surgical issues such as esophageal cancer, pancreatic tumors, and hernia repairs. His clinical practice is characterized by a patient-centered approach, ensuring that each individual receives tailored treatment based on their specific health needs.
