Biography

Francisco Exposito studied Biology at the University of Navarra (Pamplona, Spain) from 2011 to 2015, followed by a Master's Degree in Cancer Biomedical Research (2015-2016). He completed his PhD at the Center for Applied Medical Research (CIMA), focusing on novel strategies to enhance the therapeutic efficacy of chemotherapy and immunotherapy for non-small cell lung cancer between 2016 and 2020. Additionally, he holds a Master's degree in Biostatistics and Bioinformatics from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and University of Barcelona (2021). After finishing his PhD, he joined the Department of Pathology, Anatomy, and Physiology as teaching support staff from 2020 to 2021. In January 2022, he joined the Politi Lab as a Postdoctoral Fellow to study distinct mechanisms of tumor progression and drug sensitivity in lung cancer. His academic career is marked by multiple research collaborations and significant contributions to the field of cancer research, making him a prominent figure in oncology and molecular biology.
