Dr. Franck Adjogble

Biography

Franck K. Adjogble is an adjunct professor with a distinguished background in technology innovation management, computer science, data analysis, and manufacturing automation systems. He earned his Ph.D. in technology innovation management from the University of Hagen, Germany, in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute of Industrial Engineering. He also holds a Technology Innovation Management Certificate from the same institution and an M.Sc. in computer science from the University of Siegen. Adjogble has held leadership roles in the steel and aluminum rolling industries, serving as general manager of digital technologies at SMS-Digital SMS-Group, chief engineer, and business development manager at SMS-SIEMAG LLC, and manager of automation systems at SMS-SIEMAG GmbH. His extensive experience includes commissioning and managing rolling mills automation systems with a focus on hot strip and plate mills for international projects. Adjogble has lectured at TÜV Akademie Rheinland GmbH in Siegen, Germany, and has been a faculty member at the University of Hagen, teaching courses in security, technology intelligence, and software engineering, while supervising numerous master's students. His research interests encompass the Industrial Internet of Things, Natural Language Processing, Artificial Intelligence, and production planning. Adjogble has received prestigious awards, including the James Farrington Award and Hunt-Kelly Award, and is a respected figure in both academia and industry.
