Dr. Franck Adjogble

Biography

Franck K. Adjogble is an adjunct professor with a distinguished background in technology innovation management, computer science, data analysis, and manufacturing automation systems. He earned his Ph.D. in technology innovation management from the University of Hagen in Germany, where he collaborated with the Fraunhofer Institute of Industrial Engineering. He also holds a Technology Innovation Management Certificate from the same institutions, as well as an M.Sc. in computer science from the University of Siegen. Dr. Adjogble has held leadership roles in the steel and aluminum rolling industries, including positions such as general manager of digital technologies at SMS-Digital SMS-Group and chief engineer at SMS-SIEMAG LLC. With extensive experience in commissioning and managing rolling mills and automation systems, he has worked on projects worldwide, focusing on hot strip and plate mills. Additionally, Adjogble has taught courses on security, technology intelligence, and software engineering at TÜV Akademie Rheinland GmbH and the University of Hagen, where he has supervised and mentored many master’s students. He aims to bridge the gap between industry and academic research and aspires to a long-term career as a university professor. His research interests include the Industrial Internet of Things, Natural Language Processing, and Artificial Intelligence in production planning, and he is a highly respected figure in both academia and industry.
