Franco Berruti is a Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at Western University. His research has involved collaboration with various industrial organizations both nationally and internationally, and he has made substantial contributions to both academic and industrial fields, publishing over 250 articles in prestigious journals, books, and conference proceedings, as well as numerous presentations and patents. Berruti has also co-founded Agri-Therm and Bio-Techfar, and participated in significant national and international networking initiatives such as Agricultural Biorefinery Innovation Network and others, showcasing his leadership in carbon capture and biorefinery innovation.
