Biography

François Maréchal holds a process engineering degree and obtained his PhD from the University of Liège in Belgium focusing on process integration. In 2001, he joined the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) as a professor at the Valais-Wallis campus, leading the Industrial Process Energy Systems Engineering group.
