Biography

François Vaillancourt is a professor emeritus at the Department of Economics at the Université de Montréal where he has been teaching since 1976. He has been a researcher and fellow at CIRANO since 2004 and holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Queen's University. His work focuses on public policies, particularly intergovernmental financial relations, taxation, and language policies.
