Biography

Frank Apeseche is a long-standing faculty member at Harvard University Graduate School of Design, focusing on Real Estate. His research interests target innovation, strategy, leadership, and capital formation, and their influence on enterprise performance. He has taught various courses, including Advanced Real Estate Finance, Development Management, and the Master Real Estate Practicum. Frank is part of the senior faculty team for Harvard’s Advanced Management Development program and has previously served as acting Co-Director of Harvard’s Real Estate Academic Initiative. With extensive industry experience, he has held leadership positions such as Chief Executive Officer of national corporations and Treasurer for NYSE REITs. Currently, he is the Chairman of Amstar, an international real estate private equity firm, and a Board member of Launchpad Venture Group, which specializes in financing disruptive growth companies in real estate and proptech industries. Over his 26 years at Berkshire Group, he helped launch and grow numerous subsidiaries across various sectors, culminating in the successful public offerings of companies under his leadership. Frank holds a BA from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
