Professor Dehne is a Chancellor's Professor Emeritus at Carleton University. He was the Founding Director of the Carleton University Institute of Data Science from 2015 to 2022 and served as the Director of the School of Computer Science from 2000 to 2003 and again from 2006 to 2008.
