Biography

I work as a university lecturer in tax law, specializing in corporate tax, at Tilburg University. Since June 2022, I have been the director of the bachelor and master programs in tax economics. Additionally, I work as a Business Tax Advisor at EY and am responsible for knowledge management at the Bureau Vaktechniek. In June 2018, I completed my doctoral research, which focused on what the Netherlands can learn from Germany regarding corporate taxation. I regularly give lectures and courses on corporate tax and fiscal developments related to Germany, and I publish on these topics. I am a regular contributor to the Weekblad Fiscaal Recht, an author for the Cursus Belastingrecht, and a co-author of the book 'Hoofdzaken Vennootschapsbelasting'. My specializations include Dutch National and International Business Tax Advisory and Netherlands-German tax business.
