Biography

Frank Guan Yunqing is currently an Associate Professor at the Singapore Institute of Technology. His research interests include Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Artificial Intelligence (AI). He leads and conducts research at several large collaborative research centers and has published dozens of papers in top-tier conferences and journals, including citations in prominent publications such as Nature. Due to his excellent track record in research, he was awarded the Andrew Fraser Prize by IMechE (UK) in 2006. Frank has served on the program organizing committee of multiple international conferences and academic organizations. He also has a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship, which led to him being awarded the SMART Innovation Fellow in 2015 through the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology.
