Biography

Dr. Frank Jiang joined Sprott in 2016 as an Associate Professor in International Business. He previously served as an Associate Professor at the Rowe School of Business at Dalhousie University. Dr. Jiang has taught courses in strategic management, global strategy, and international management across various universities in Canada, Colombia, and China. His research focuses on international strategy, corporate governance, and corporate social responsibilities, examining the environmental antecedents that influence firms' foreign expansion strategies and corporate policies. Dr. Jiang's studies have explored the impact of initial public offerings and the role of corruption in the internationalization processes of small- to medium-sized enterprises, particularly within developing markets. His work has been published in leading management journals such as the Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management, and Journal of World Business. He has received multiple SSHRC grants and was awarded the Carleton University Research Achievement Award in 2024.
