Biography

Frank Li is an Assistant Professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology's School of Cybersecurity. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, which he completed in 2019, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2013. His research interests include Network Security, Internet Measurements, Usable Security, Human Factors Security, and Software Security. Prior to joining Georgia Tech, Dr. Li was a Visiting Researcher at Facebook. He has been recognized with prestigious fellowships including the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program and the National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship. Additionally, he received the Berkeley Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor Award. Originally from Minnesota, Dr. Li is a passionate supporter of the Vikings and Timberwolves.
