Biography

Frank Steinicke is a professor in Human-Computer Interaction at the Department of Informatics at the University of Hamburg. He has previously been a professor of Computer Science and headed the Department of Computer Science at the University of Würzburg, where he led the Immersive Media Group from 2011 to 2014. His research focuses on understanding human perceptual, cognitive, and motor capabilities to enhance interactions in computer-mediated environments. Steinicke actively contributes to numerous panels and conferences, serving in various leadership roles within the scientific community, including editorial responsibilities for prominent journals in his field.
