Frans H.J.M. Coenen holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Ph.D. in Environmental Policy Planning. With over 35 years of experience, he is currently an Associate Professor in the Governance Technology Sustainability section at the University of Twente. Since joining in 1987, his research has largely centered on local and regional sustainable development, capacity development, and the quality of environmental decision-making.
