Professor Dr. Frans Feldberg

Biography

Frans Feldberg is a Full Professor at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where he leads the KIN Center for Digital Innovation. His research focuses on data-driven business innovation, exploring how organizations can create value from big data, analytics, and artificial intelligence. Feldberg is a co-founder and member of the Executive Board at the Amsterdam Center for Business Analytics, a multidisciplinary research institute. He has extensive experience as a business consultant, developing and implementing data and analytics-driven business models and strategies for national and international companies. His academic interests intersect business administration, organizational sciences, cognitive psychology, and computer sciences, with particular expertise in decision-making behavior related to data-driven business innovation. He teaches various courses including the Artificial Intelligence Lab and Data-Driven Business Model Innovation, contributing to both academic and practical applications of data science in business.
