Dr. Franziska Weber

Biography

Professor Franziska Weber specializes in Law and Economics at Erasmus School of Law, where she holds multiple roles including senior fellow at the Erasmus Center of Law and Digitalization and local coordinator for the European Master in Law and Economics program. She has been an active member of various scientific committees and advisory boards, contributing to interdisciplinary research initiatives. Professor Weber previously served as a junior professor at the University of Hamburg and has undertaken research visits to both Leiden University and Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. Her academic journey includes an extensive background in civil law, economic law, and comparative law, culminating in her habilitation in Law & Economics at the University of Hamburg. She is also qualified to practice law in Germany and Spain, reflecting her deep engagement in legal education and research.
