Biography

Fred M. Baik, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Stanford University. He specializes in providing comprehensive surgical care for patients with head and neck cancer as an ablative and reconstructive surgeon. His clinical interests encompass oral cavity cancer, complex skin cancer, microvascular reconstruction, and the diagnosis and management of nodal metastasis. He completed a residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Washington and pursued further training in Head and Neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgery at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in New York City. He is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Head and Neck Society and the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.
