Biography

Freddy Radtke obtained his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Zürich in 1994. In 1995, he began postdoctoral research at the laboratory of Michel Aguet at Genentech, Inc. in San Francisco, USA. After completing his postdoctoral fellowship at the Swiss Institute for Experimental Cancer Research (ISREC) in Lausanne, he returned to Switzerland in 1997. From 1999 to 2005, Radtke served as a group leader and Associate Member at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research. He joined ISREC in January 2006 as a senior scientist and was appointed Associate Professor at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) School of Life Sciences in July 2006. His research focuses on the mechanisms underpinning cancer and cell signaling, integrating his extensive experience in molecular biology to advance understanding in life sciences.
