Biography

Fredrik Engström is an Associate Professor of Logic at the University of Gothenburg, with expertise in mathematical logic and cognitive aspects of reasoning. He defended his PhD in Mathematics at Chalmers University of Technology in 2004, focusing on mathematical logic. Engström has conducted research at the University of Birmingham under the guidance of Richard Kaye. He has been with the University of Gothenburg since 2006 and has served as a Senior Lecturer in Logic. In his role, he has been involved with the administration and oversight of PhD studies as the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Humanities.
