Dr. Fredrik Nilsson

Biography

Fredrik Nilsson is a Professor of Business Studies specializing in Accounting at Uppsala University. He holds a PhD and has served as a professor in Economic Information Systems at Linköping University. His research interests focus on the intersection of strategy and information systems, particularly in areas such as financial accounting, management control, and production control. With extensive teaching experience at both undergraduate and graduate levels, Nilsson is actively involved in the Master Programme in Accounting and Financial Management at Uppsala University. He has supervised over fifteen Ph.D. and Licentiate students, demonstrating a commitment to academic mentorship and research advancement. His awards include the 'Ekonomiforskningsstiftelsens forskarpris 2016' for his contributions to economic research.
