Biography

Frej Mighri is a full professor of chemical engineering at the Faculty of Science and Engineering of Laval University, and a member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec. He obtained his doctorate in chemical engineering and joined the Industrial Materials Institute, CRIC, National Research Council Canada in Boucherville, QC, as a research officer from 1998 to 2003. Since 2003, he has been with Laval University as a full professor. He is actively involved in research with primary interests in the development of functional polymer nanocomposites. He directed the certificate program in plastics engineering from 2005 to 2009 and the second and third cycle programs in chemical engineering from 2010 to 2014. Since 2006, he has been a member of the board of the Polymeric and Composite High-Performance Systems Research Center, CREPEC, a strategic interuniversity grouping in Quebec.
