Fritz E. Kühn received his doctoral degree from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in Germany in 1994. He worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Texas A&M University in the USA. After completing his habilitation at TUM in 1996, he transitioned into a lecturer role at TUM Asia, a joint venture with the National University of Singapore (NUS), in 2002.
