Dr. Gabor Orosz

Biography

Gabor Orosz is a Professor affiliated with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Michigan. He has completed his PhD in Engineering Mathematics from the University of Bristol, UK, in 2006, and an MSc in Engineering Physics from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary, in 2002. His research interests include nonlinear dynamics control, time-delay systems, networks and complex systems, dynamics control of connected vehicles, ground robots and autonomous vehicles, neural networks, and gene-regulatory networks. Orosz's work focuses on innovative solutions to complex engineering problems, leveraging insights from various interdisciplinary fields. He is actively involved in the academic community, contributing to research and education in the areas of dynamics and control within civil engineering, aiming to advance the understanding and application of these concepts to modern challenges in engineering.
