Biography

Gabriel joined the Adam Smith Business School as a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance in September 2016. He obtained his PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Glasgow, and holds a Master's in Accounting (MAcc) with Distinction, as well as an MSc in Research (Business Management) with Distinction from Glasgow Caledonian University. Gabriel also holds a BA in Accounting and a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCert). Prior to joining the University of Glasgow, he held lectureship positions in accounting and business at Glasgow Kelvin College and Glasgow Caledonian University, covering ACCA professional courses. He possesses 15 years of experience in teaching, scholarship, and research in accounting-related disciplines across further and higher education institutions. Gabriel has taught, supervised, and examined diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional students in accounting and finance, and has presented his research at internationally recognized conferences, workshops, and seminars.
