Biography

Gabriela Gilmour is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary, specializing in neurology with a focus on movement disorders. She has clinical expertise in the management and diagnosis of functional movement disorders, Parkinson's disease, tremor, dystonia, and chorea. Dr. Gilmour completed her medical education and neurology residency at the University of Calgary, followed by a fellowship in Movement Disorders at Toronto Western Hospital, University of Toronto. She joined the University of Calgary faculty in 2023 and is a full member of the Hotchkiss Brain Institute. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she serves as the program director of the Functional Movement Disorder Clinic, providing comprehensive care for patients with various movement disorders at the South Health Campus and Foothills Medical Centre.
