Generate a tailored SOP for Dr. Gabriele Schrag. Improve your application with a focused, well-structured draft.
Gabriele Schrag has extensive expertise in the development, characterization, and optimization of microsensors, actuators, and microsystems. Additionally, she investigates and applies modeling methods and virtual prototyping approaches to design, optimize, and improve components. Her research applications span various fields, including acoustics, microfluidics, traditional mechanical sensor systems, and bioengineering. Schrag studied physics at the University of Stuttgart and earned her doctorate with distinction from the Technical University of Munich. Following this, she joined the microsystems working group as Chair of Physics and Electrotechnology, where she obtained the venia legendi in 2018 for the field of sensor system technology. Between 2018 and 2023, she acted as the temporary head of the chair and in December 2023, she was appointed to the Professorship of Microsensors and Actuators.
