Biography

Gabrielle Hodge is a deaf researcher specializing in semiotics and sociolinguistics, focusing on research related to deaf people, Deaf communities, and sign languages. Her research utilizes a variety of theoretical approaches and methods, including corpus linguistics, applied linguistics, translation studies, linguistic typology, and semiotics. Her current and past supervision roles include overseeing PhD and MSc students, demonstrating her commitment to advancing research initiatives within the field.
