Biography

Garrett Melenka received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta in September 2016. He joined the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at York University in July 2017. Garrett’s research focuses on the design, manufacture, mathematical modeling, and experimental analysis of advanced tubular braided composite structures. Furthermore, his experience with composite materials translates into expertise in experimental analysis and modeling of additive manufactured structures.
