Biography

Gary Brudvig is the Benjamin Silliman Professor of Chemistry at Yale University, specializing in the molecular basis of energy transduction in photosynthesis. He earned his Ph.D. from the California Institute of Technology and joined Yale's faculty in 1982. In addition to his role as a professor, he chairs the Department of Chemistry and directs the Energy Sciences Institute on Yale's West Campus.
