Biography

Gary M. Franklin is a Research Professor at the University of Washington (UW) in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences and the Department of Medicine (Neurology). He has served as the Medical Director of the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries (L&I) since 1988, where he developed and administered workers’ compensation health care policy and conducted outcomes research.
