Dr. Gary Soffer

Biography

Gary Soffer, MD specializes in Pediatric Allergy/Immunology and Integrative Medicine. He completed his degree in Human Development at Cornell University and received his medical degree from Tel Aviv University in Israel. He finished his training in pediatrics and allergy immunology at Children's Hospital Montefiore, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and completed his fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. He is known for his work at the intersection of Integrative Medicine and Allergy/Immunology, focusing on food allergies, eczema, asthma, and environmental allergies. Dr. Soffer currently sees patients in the pediatric allergy/immunology department at Norwalk, as well as in integrative oncology at Smilow Cancer Hospital. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife and children. Through his practice, he emphasizes the importance of looking at the whole patient rather than just focusing on a single organ disease, allowing him to build long-lasting relationships with his patients and their families.
