Biography

Geetanjali Chander is a Professor in the Health Systems and Population Health and the Division Head of General Internal Medicine at the University of Washington. Her academic focus is primarily on substance use disorders, particularly alcohol use, as well as the epidemiology of communicable and non-communicable diseases including HIV, tuberculosis, and hepatitis C. Her early academic foundation was laid at Wesleyan University, where she completed her Bachelor of Arts in History in 1993.
