Biography

Dr. Genevieve Bouchard-Fortier is an Associate Professor and Co-Vice Chair for Quality Improvement at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Toronto. She completed her MD at McGill University and pursued her residency program in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Toronto. Dr. Bouchard-Fortier obtained a Master of Science in clinical epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health, focusing on cancer screening and prevention. She completed her fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Toronto. Her clinical interests include the management of gestational trophoblastic disease and ovarian cancer. Dr. Bouchard-Fortier's research focuses on the development of quality metrics to enhance gynecologic oncology care, as well as the outcomes of minimally invasive surgeries for gynecologic oncology patients. She also completed a certificate in patient safety and quality improvement from the Center for Quality Improvement & Patient Safety (CQUIPS).
