Biography

Prior to joining the Tax Program faculty, Genevieve Tokic practiced in the National Tax Department of Ernst & Young LLP and the tax group of McDermott & Emery’s Chicago office. Her practice focused on international tax planning, advising multinational corporations on cross-border transactions. Genevieve Tokic has held tenure-track teaching positions at Northern Illinois University College of Law and Texas Tech University School of Law. She has co-authored a casebook on international taxation and has published numerous articles in tax journals and law reviews. Her areas of expertise include tax law, tax policy, and international taxation.
