Biography

Genia Kostka is a Professor of Chinese Studies at Freie Universität Berlin, where she leads the Institute of Chinese Studies. Her research specializes in China's digital transformation, environmental politics, and political economy, particularly focusing on the integration of digital technologies into local governance structures in China.
