Biography

Gennaro Notomista is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo, Canada. He further earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics from Università degli Studi di Napoli ‘Federico II’ in 2016, and a Ph.D. in Robotics from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, in 2020. Dr. Notomista has received multiple accolades, including the Fulbright Scholar award and the IEEE ARSO Paper Award in 2022. He is a member of IEEE and serves as an associate editor for the IEEE Robotics Automation Letters, in addition to being a guest associate editor for Autonomous Robots.
