Biography

Geoff Dover is an Associate Professor at Concordia University, specializing in Health and Kinesiology with a focus on Applied Physiology. He is a certified Athletic Therapist and Trainer, having earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Guelph and completed his Athletic Therapy training at Sheridan College. Chronic pain remains a prevalent and disabling issue in society, with his research aimed at identifying risk factors that lead to increased pain perception and decreased function across various populations. Additionally, he leads the Athletic Therapy Research Laboratory, focusing on understanding patient outcomes in relation to pain and injury rehabilitation and measuring pain-related fear.
