Biography

Dr. Geoffrey Law is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of British Columbia. He completed his MD in 2016, followed by a Residency in Ophthalmology in 2021 and a Fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery in 2022. Dr. Law holds surgical privileges at Vancouver General Hospital where he regularly performs refractive cataract surgery. As an active teacher within the residency program, he is also involved in clinical research and is interested in collaborating with other researchers on phase 3-4 clinical trials, investigator-initiated trials, and surgical devices including intraocular lenses. Dr. Law is a noted author of numerous peer-reviewed publications and has served as an invited speaker at various conferences across Canada, the United States, and Mongolia.
