Dr. Geoffrey Nadzam

Biography

Geoffrey Nadzam is an Associate Professor at Yale School of Medicine specializing in Bariatric and Minimally Invasive Surgery. He completed his medical degree at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey and underwent residency in General Surgery, followed by a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery at Stanford University Medical Center. With a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Cornell University, Dr. Nadzam has taken on leadership roles, including Chief of Surgery at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital and Director of Bariatric Surgery. His clinical focus includes performing laparoscopic bariatric robotic procedures, guiding patients with severe obesity towards effective long-term weight loss solutions. Dr. Nadzam is passionate about improving the quality of life for individuals, emphasizing the importance of early intervention in treating obesity-related conditions. His work has garnered recognition, including multiple awards as a Top Doc from Connecticut Magazine. He collaborates frequently with co-authors in research and has produced several notable publications in the field of surgical weight management.
