George Bevan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography and Planning at Queen’s University. He joined Queen’s in 2007 after earning his PhD in 2005 from the University of Toronto. Initially appointed in the Department of Classics, he transitioned to the Department of Geography and Planning in 2016. His teaching focuses on History of Cartography, Energy Geography, Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, and Geographical Information Science. He welcomes student applications for research in these fields at the MA, MSc, and PhD levels, and encourages qualified students to pursue undergraduate theses.
