Biography

George Boys-Stones is a Professor and Chair in the Department of Classics at the University of Toronto. He was educated at Cambridge and Oxford, and has taught for 20 years at Durham University before moving to Toronto in 2019. His research interests are broad within the field of Ancient Greek and Roman Philosophy, particularly focused on philosophical movements from the post-Hellenistic period.
