Biography

George Carter is a Senior Fellow and the Deputy Head of the Department of Pacific Affairs at The Australian National University (ANU), where he also serves as the Director of the ANU Pacific Institute. His research focuses on the interplay between international politics and security issues, particularly in relation to climate change, including diplomacy, negotiations, and indigenous traditional knowledge.
