George Frantz is an Associate Professor of Practice and Interim Director of Undergraduate Studies at Cornell's Department of City and Regional Planning. Frantz has a strong background in community-based planning and has taught field workshop classes in a variety of locations, including the Ninth Ward of New Orleans and resort towns in the Catskill Mountains. Frantz received a B.S. in Landscape Architecture and a Master of Regional Planning from Cornell University in 1980 and 1991, respectively. He has authored numerous publications and has been recognized with several awards for his contributions to the field of landscape architecture and community planning.
