Dr. George Goshua

Biography

George Goshua, MD, MSc, FACP is an Assistant Professor at the Yale School of Medicine specializing in Hematology and Medical Oncology. He is a Yale-trained, board-certified internist and hematologist-oncologist with methodological training in risk decision science from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. His clinical expertise is in the care of adults with rare hematologic disorders, with a particular focus on immunohematology and thrombosis. Dr. Goshua leads a quantitative decision analytic modeling laboratory in hematology-oncology, supported by the Yale Cancer Center and other funding bodies. His research employs decision analytic modeling methods to fill gaps in clinical guidelines, impact health resource allocation, and inform health policy decisions. He has published original science in notable journals such as Annals of Internal Medicine, Blood, and The Lancet Haematology, gaining recognition from leading hematology societies. His contributions extend to the interface of decision science and clinical medicine, reflected in his service on various committees and editorial boards.
