Biography

George Hoffman has been a Sessional Lecturer in the Department of History at the University of Regina for several years. He regularly teaches in the Department of History at Brandon University as well. Hoffman has considerable experience in aspects of History and Social Studies education within the secondary school system in Saskatchewan. He has published several articles focused on Saskatchewan and Western Canadian History and has developed and taught an online class for History 113. Currently, he is in the process of developing an online version of History 201. His Selected Publication includes "Rural Radicalism: Seymour Martin Lipset and Saskatchewan 'Exceptionalism,'" published in Prairie Forum, vol.34, 2 (Fall 2009).
