Biography

George Marcoulides is a Research Professor at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University. He was previously a Distinguished Professor of Research Methodology at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and held professorships in Research Methods and Statistics at the University of California, Riverside, and the Department of Information Systems and Decision Sciences at California State University, Fullerton. He has served as a visiting professor at several prestigious institutions including the University of California-Los Angeles, the University of California-Irvine, the University of Geneva, the University of Cyprus, and the University of London. With extensive experience as a consultant for numerous government agencies and multinational corporations, he is recognized as an expert in statistics, particularly in multivariate analyses and structural equation modeling. Marcoulides has co-authored and co-edited 16 books and edited volumes, published over 250 articles in scholarly journals and books, and presented at 300 national and international conferences. His contributions to the field have earned him Paper Awards from the Academy of Management, the Decision Sciences Institute, and the University Council for Administration. He is a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society and the American Educational Research Association, and a member of the Society for Multivariate Experimental Psychology. Currently, Marcoulides serves as the Editor for the journals Structural Equation Modeling and Educational Psychological Measurement, and as the Editor for the Quantitative Methodology Book Series, amongst various editorial board positions in scholarly journals.
