Biography

George is a Research Fellow in Pharmacoepidemiology at the Centre for Medicine Use Safety, Monash University. His research focuses on generating real-world evidence related to medication use patterns and outcomes. He completed his PhD in 2025, during which he investigated pharmacoepidemiologic methods utilized to generate and validate drug repurposing hypotheses. In addition to his role as a Research Fellow, George serves as an Assistant Lecturer in the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate courses on Medication Safety and Evidence-based Practice, while also coordinating Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs). He has a background as a practising pharmacist with experience in community and hospital pharmacy settings. His work contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in the realm of educational qualifications and health outcomes.
