Biography

Georgia Gkioxari is an Assistant Professor at the California Institute of Technology, specializing in designing advanced visual perception models that push the boundaries of current visual capabilities. Her research group focuses on four main areas: 2D Perception, 3D Perception, Spatial Reasoning, and Tools. She obtained her Diplom from the National Technical University of Athens in 2010 and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in 2016. After serving as a Visiting Associate in 2022, she became an Assistant Professor in 2023 and is also recognized as a William H. Hurt Scholar.
