Biography

Georgie Fleming is a Lecturer in the School of Psychological Sciences at Macquarie University. She completed a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology at the University of Sydney in 2012 and a combined PhD/Master of Psychology (Clinical) at the University of New South Wales in 2019. She is particularly interested in understanding the treatment needs of families with children exhibiting callous-unemotional traits and is a strong advocate for using scientific knowledge in clinical practice. Committed to education, she is currently the course convenor for PSYC8986 Psychological Assessment 1 at Macquarie University, where she aims to foster student-centered, inclusive learning experiences to develop competencies in Australia's psychology workforce.
